Walking
From Amersfoort Central Station, exit the station and head northwest towards the city center. You will walk straight along Stationsplein, which will lead you to the main street, called Langestraat. Continue on Langestraat for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the junction with Krommestraat. Turn left onto Krommestraat, which will lead you directly to the historic city center. Once in the center, follow the signs to the 'Dam,' which is a well-known square in Amsterdam. You will be able to see the National Monument from there.
Public Transport
From Amersfoort Central Station, take the train to Amsterdam Central Station. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Amsterdam Central Station, exit the station and walk straight towards the Dam Square. The National Monument is located at the Dam, which is just a 10-minute walk from the station. As you exit the station, you will see signs pointing towards the Dam Square; follow these signs until you reach the National Monument.
