If you are near the Amsterdam Central Station, you can take tram line 4, 14, or 24 towards the Dam Square. Board the tram at the station and stay on until you reach the 'Dam' stop. Once you get off, you will see Dam Square right in front of you.
Bus
You can take bus line 48 from various parts of the city. If you are close to the 'Rembrandtplein' area, board bus 48 and ride it to the 'Dam' stop. From there, exit the bus and walk straight ahead to reach Dam Square.
Walking
If you are nearby, such as in the Jordaan district, you can walk to Dam Square. Head southeast on 'Prinsengracht' and turn left onto 'Damstraat.' Continue walking until you reach the square. It should take about 15-20 minutes.
Bicycle
If you are renting a bike, head towards the city center. From the Anne Frank House, ride along 'Prinsengracht' and take a right onto 'Damstraat.' Follow the path straight to Dam Square. The ride will take approximately 10 minutes.
