Train
If you are in Amsterdam, head to Amsterdam Centraal Station. From there, take a train towards Utrecht. Trains to Utrecht run frequently, so check the schedule on the NS (Dutch Railways) website or app. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Utrecht Central Station, follow the signs to the exit. As you exit, turn right and walk towards the bus stop or tram station. You can take bus line 2 or tram line 2 towards 'De Uithof' and get off at the 'Domplein' stop. From Domplein, the Dom Tower is just a short walk away.

From Amsterdam, you can also take a bus to Utrecht. Head to Amsterdam Sloterdijk Bus Station and catch a FlixBus or another intercity bus that travels to Utrecht. The bus ride takes about 45 minutes to an hour depending on traffic. Once you arrive at Utrecht Central Station, exit the station and take tram line 2 or bus line 2 towards 'De Uithof'. Get off at the 'Domplein' stop, and the Dom Tower will be just a short walk from there.
