Train
From Amsterdam Central Station, take a train towards Alkmaar. Trains to Alkmaar run frequently, approximately every 30 minutes. The journey takes about 35 minutes. Once you arrive at Alkmaar Station, exit the station and head towards the main road (Stationsweg).
Walking
After exiting Alkmaar Station, walk straight onto Stationsweg, then turn right onto Langestraat. Continue straight until you reach the city center. From there, take a left onto Waagplein. The Dutch Cheese Museum is located at Waagplein 2, just ahead on your left.
Bus
Alternatively, from Amsterdam Central Station, you can take a bus (bus number 142 or 192) directly to Alkmaar. The bus ride takes about 45 minutes. Get off at the 'Alkmaar, Station' stop. From there, follow the walking directions provided above.
