Train
From Amsterdam Central Station, take a train to Haarlem. Trains to Haarlem leave frequently, typically every 15-20 minutes. The journey takes approximately 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive at Haarlem Station, exit the station and head towards the bus and taxi area. Follow the signs to the city center. You will need to walk for about 15 minutes to reach the Frans Hals Museum, which is located at Groot Heiligland 62. Head south on Stationsplein, then turn right onto Wilhelminastraat. Continue straight until you reach the main square, then follow the signs to the museum.
Bus
From Amsterdam, you can take Bus 300 from Sloterdijk Station towards Haarlem. This bus runs regularly and takes about 30-40 minutes. Get off at the 'Haarlem, Station' stop. From there, walk towards the city center, which is about a 15-minute walk. You can follow the same route as described for the train, heading south on Stationsplein and then turning right onto Wilhelminastraat.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, rent a bike in Amsterdam and take the route to Haarlem. Follow the bike path heading west along the Spaarne River. The ride is approximately 20 km and should take about 1 hour. Once you arrive in Haarlem, navigate towards the city center, where the Frans Hals Museum is located at Groot Heiligland 62. There are bike racks available near the museum.
