To reach Hofje van Splinter in Alkmaar from Amsterdam, start at Amsterdam Centraal Station. Purchase a ticket to Alkmaar at the ticket counter or using the NS app. Board an intercity train heading towards Alkmaar. The journey takes approximately 40 minutes. Once you arrive at Alkmaar Station, exit the station and head towards the main road, leaving the station building behind. Turn left and walk straight along the Stationsweg until you reach the intersection with de Hoef. Turn right onto de Hoef and continue until you reach the first traffic lights. Cross the road and continue straight on until you arrive at Ritsevoort. Hofje van Splinter will be on your left at Ritsevoort 2.

If you prefer to travel by bus, go to Amsterdam Sloterdijk Station. From there, take bus line 80 towards Alkmaar. The bus ride takes around 50 minutes. Get off at the 'Alkmaar, Wognumseweg' stop. From the bus stop, walk to the nearest intersection and turn left onto de Hoef. Continue walking straight until you reach the first traffic lights. Cross the road and turn left, continuing straight until you arrive at Ritsevoort. Hofje van Splinter will be on your left at Ritsevoort 2.
