Train
From Amsterdam Central Station, take a train heading towards Alkmaar. The journey takes approximately 35-40 minutes. Once you arrive at Alkmaar Station, exit the station and head towards the main exit. From there, turn left onto Kennemerstraatweg and continue straight until you reach the intersection with Langedijk. Turn right onto Langedijk, and then take the next left onto Sint Laurensstraat. Continue walking straight for about 10 minutes until you reach Hooge Huys at Sint Laurensstraat 1-3.

Bus
From Amsterdam, you can also take a bus to Alkmaar. Head to the Amsterdam Sloterdijk bus station and take the bus number 300 towards Alkmaar. The bus ride takes around 45-50 minutes. Once you arrive at Alkmaar, get off at the Alkmaar Station stop. From there, walk towards the main exit, turn left onto Kennemerstraatweg, and follow the same directions as for the train.

Bike
If you prefer to bike, you can rent a bike in Amsterdam and follow the cycling path towards Alkmaar. The scenic route is approximately 40 km and takes about 2-2.5 hours. Head northwest out of the city towards the North Sea Canal and follow the signs towards Alkmaar. Once you reach the city, navigate to Sint Laurensstraat where Hooge Huys is located.
