If you are in the city center, you can walk to the Hortus Botanicus. Start at Dam Square and head east on Damstraat until you reach the Rokin. Continue walking straight until you reach the 'Waterlooplein' square. From there, turn left onto Plantage Middenlaan and continue walking for about 15 minutes until you see the Hortus Botanicus on your right at Plantage Middenlaan 2a.
