If you are near the Rijksmuseum, simply walk across the street to reach Museumplein. From the Rijksmuseum, head towards the large open square where you'll see the famous 'I Amsterdam' sign. Museumplein is directly in front of you.

Take tram line 2 or 12 from any stop within Amsterdam city center. If you're at Amsterdam Central Station, board tram line 2 towards 'Zuid' and get off at the 'Museumplein' stop. From there, walk straight into the square.

Rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops around the city. Head towards the Museumplein by following the signs to the museum district. Bike lanes are clearly marked. Upon arrival, park your bike at one of the designated bike racks nearby.
