Walking
If you are in the heart of Amsterdam, start by heading towards the central area known as Dam Square. From Dam Square, walk east towards Rokin. Continue along Rokin until you reach a major intersection at the Spui. Here, you will see the Amsterdam University Library and the famous Begijnhof. Continue walking straight, and after a few minutes, you will reach the intersection with the canal, where you can see the beautiful views of the city. Keep walking straight along the canal until you reach the intersection with Realengracht. The canal will be on your right. Look for signs or local maps indicating Realengracht.

Public Transport - Tram
From Amsterdam Central Station, take tram number 4, 14, or 24 towards the direction of the city center. Get off at the stop 'Rokin'. From Rokin, walk east towards Spui and then follow the directions for walking from Dam Square mentioned above. This tram ride will take about 10 minutes, and the walk will take an additional 5-10 minutes.

If you prefer to bike, you can rent a bicycle at any rental shop in the city. Start from the central areas, heading towards the 'Singel' canal. Turn left onto the 'Herengracht' canal, and continue straight. When you reach the intersection with the 'Keizersgracht', continue straight until you reach the 'Realengracht'. The ride should take approximately 15-20 minutes depending on your starting point.
