Public Transport
Start from Amsterdam Central Station. Take the train to Schiphol Airport. The train departs frequently, and the journey takes about 15-20 minutes. After arriving at Schiphol, exit the train station and follow the signs to the bus terminal. Catch bus line 197 (or a similar line heading towards Aalsmeer). Stay on the bus for approximately 30 minutes until you reach the 'Westeinderplassen' stop. From there, it’s a short walk to the swimming lake area where Westeinderplassen Foto. H. is located. Follow the pathway along the lake to enjoy the beautiful views.

Bicycle
Rent a bike from one of the many rental shops in Amsterdam. Head toward the Amstel River and follow the cycle paths heading south. Continue cycling towards Aalsmeer, using the designated bike routes. The bike ride will take about 45 minutes to an hour depending on your pace. As you approach Westeinderplassen, keep an eye out for signs directing you to the swimming lake area. Once you arrive, lock your bike at the designated bike racks near the entrance.

If you are up for a long walk, you can start from the city center and head southwest towards Aalsmeer. The journey is approximately 20 kilometers and will take around 4-5 hours on foot. Walk along the Amstel River and continue through the scenic routes. Make sure to take regular breaks and enjoy the surrounding nature. Once you reach Westeinderplassen, follow the pathways around the lake to find Foto. H.
