Train
From Amsterdam Central Station, take a train towards Uitgeest or Alkmaar. The train ride takes approximately 17 minutes. Disembark at Zaandam Station. Once you arrive at Zaandam Station, exit the station and walk towards the main road, which is called Stationsplein. Turn left onto Stationsplein, then continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Schansend. Turn right onto Schansend, and you will find the Zaans Museum at Schansend 7, located about 15 minutes from the station.

From Amsterdam Central Station, you can take bus line 391 directly to Zaanse Schans. Board the bus at the bus stop located outside the station. The journey takes about 30 minutes.
