Getting There

  • Train

    From Amsterdam Central Station, take the train towards Uitgeest. Trains run frequently, approximately every 15-30 minutes. The journey takes about 17 minutes. Get off at Zaandijk Zaanse Schans station. Upon exiting the station, follow the signs that lead you to Zaanse Schans, which is about a 15-minute walk (1.2 km). You will see signs directing you along the paths.

  • Bus

    From Amsterdam Central Station, you can take bus number 391 towards 'Zaanse Schans'. Buses depart regularly, approximately every 30 minutes. The bus ride takes about 30 minutes. Get off at the 'Zaanse Schans' stop, and you will be right at the entrance to the attraction.

  • Ferry and Train

    Take a free ferry from Amsterdam Central Station to the 'Buiksloterweg' terminal. From there, walk to the 'Noorderpark' tram stop (about a 10-minute walk).
