Getting There

Walking
If you are in the city center, start at Dam Square. From Dam Square, walk southeast towards Rokin. Continue walking along Rokin until you reach the intersection with Muntplein. Turn left onto Amstelstraat, and cross the Amstel River. After crossing, continue straight onto the Weesperstraat. Keep walking until you reach the intersection with Plantage Middenlaan. Turn right onto Plantage Middenlaan, and after a short walk, you will find Hortus Botanicus at number 2a on your left.

From Dam Square, head to the nearest tram stop, 'Dam' (located on Damstraat). Take tram line 14 towards 'Gein'. After about 10 minutes, get off at the 'Artis' stop. From the tram stop, walk east on Plantage Kerklaan until you reach Plantage Middenlaan. Turn left, and you will see Hortus Botanicus at number 2a.
