Walking
From the central train station in Arnhem (Arnhem Centraal), head southwest on Stationsplein towards A. D. M. W. Jansenstraat. Continue straight to cross the bridge over the railway tracks. Once you reach the end of the bridge, turn left onto Korenmarkt. Follow Korenmarkt until you reach the intersection with Rijnstraat, then turn right. Keep walking along Rijnstraat, which will lead you to the bus station called 'Busstation Arnhem'. From there, take bus line 5 towards Nijmegen. Stay on the bus for about 30 minutes until you reach the stop 'Nijmegen, Keizer Karelplein'. Once you disembark, the Valkhof Museum will be directly in front of you at Keizer Karelplein 33.
Public Transport
Start at Arnhem Centraal train station. Take bus line 5 from the bus station adjacent to the train station, heading towards Nijmegen. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Disembark at the 'Nijmegen, Keizer Karelplein' stop. The Valkhof Museum is located right at Keizer Karelplein 33, just a short walk from the bus stop.
Cycling
If you have access to a bicycle, you can cycle from Arnhem to Nijmegen. From Arnhem, head northwest towards the river Rhine, following the signs for the cycle path along the river. Continue cycling along the river until you reach Nijmegen, which is about 15 kilometers away. Once in Nijmegen, follow the signs to the city center, and head towards Keizer Karelplein. The Valkhof Museum is located at Keizer Karelplein 33.
