Walking
Start from the central train station in Arnhem (Arnhem Centraal). Exit the station and head south towards the city center. Follow the signs for 'Centrum' and walk along the Jansbuitensingel road. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with the Korenmarkt. Cross the street and continue onto the Lange Kameelstraat. After about 800 meters, you will reach the bridge over the River Rhine. Cross the bridge and head towards the city of Nijmegen. Once in Nijmegen, follow the signs towards 'Benedenstad'. The Barbarossa-ruïne is located in the Benedenstad area, which is about a 15-minute walk from the bridge.

From Arnhem Centraal, take a train towards Nijmegen. The train journey takes approximately 15 minutes. Once you arrive at Nijmegen station, exit the station and head to the bus terminal. Take bus number 1 (direction to 'Nijmegen, Neerbosscheweg'). Get off at the stop 'Nijmegen, Benedenstad'. From the bus stop, walk towards the Benedenstad area, which is about a 5-minute walk.
