Car
If you're driving, head towards Nijmegen on the A325 motorway. Take the exit towards Nijmegen-Centrum. Follow signs for the city center and merge onto the N325. Continue straight for about 3 kilometers until you reach the city center. Look for parking signs as you approach Lange Baan street. The closest parking garage is 'P1 Stadsplein', which is only a 5-minute walk from De Bastei. Once parked, walk down Lange Baan, and you'll find De Bastei at number 4.
Public Transportation
To reach De Bastei using public transportation, take a train to Nijmegen Central Station. From the station, exit towards the bus terminal. Take bus line 10, 11, or 12 towards the city center. Get off at 'Burgemeester Dalestraat' stop. From there, it's a short 10-minute walk. Head southeast on Burgemeester Dalestraat, then turn right onto Lange Baan. De Bastei will be on your right at number 4.
Bicycle
If you're cycling, you can easily navigate to De Bastei. Start from the center of Nijmegen and head towards the Waal river. Follow the bike path along the river until you reach the bridge. Cross the bridge and follow the signs to the city center. Continue straight until you reach Lange Baan. De Bastei is located at Lange Baan 4, just a short ride from the river path.
Walking
If you're already in the city center of Nijmegen, walking to De Bastei is quite simple. From the main square, head towards the Sint Stevenskerk (St. Stephen's Church). From the church, walk down the street towards the river, then take a left at the first intersection onto Lange Baan. De Bastei is located at number 4, just a few minutes away on foot.
