Getting There

  • Car

    From any location in Betuwe, take the A15 motorway towards Arnhem. After approximately 30 kilometers, merge onto the A12 towards Utrecht. Continue for about 10 kilometers, then take exit 26 towards Rheden. Follow the signs for Rheden and then for Nationaal Park Veluwezoom. The entrance to the park is located at Heuvenseweg 5A, 6991 JE Rheden. There is a parking fee of approximately €5 for a day.

    Begin your journey at the nearest train station in Betuwe. Take the train towards Arnhem. Upon arriving at Arnhem Central Station, transfer to bus line 51 towards Rheden. Get off at the 'Rheden, Heuvenseweg' stop, which is conveniently close to the park entrance. The bus journey takes about 30 minutes, and a single ticket costs around €3. The last bus back to Arnhem leaves around 7 PM, so plan accordingly.
