If you're driving, head towards the city of Amsterdam from Betuwe. Take the A15 motorway and follow signs for the A12 towards Utrecht. Merge onto the A2 towards Amsterdam and follow it until you reach the A10 ring road. Take the exit for S112 towards Amsterdam-Centrum. Continue on the S112, which will turn into the Keizersgracht. Look for parking options nearby, as parking can be limited in the city center. The nearest parking garage is 'Q-Park Europarking' at Marnixstraat 250, 1016 TB Amsterdam, which is a short walk from the museum.
Public Transportation
To reach Museum Van Loon by public transport, start by taking a train from Betuwe to Amsterdam Central Station. Trains from Betuwe typically run frequently and the journey will take about 45 minutes. Upon arriving at Amsterdam Central Station, exit the station and take tram line 1, 2, or 5 towards the direction of 'Museumplein'. Disembark at the 'Prinsengracht' stop. From there, it's about a 10-minute walk to the museum. Simply head southeast on Prinsengracht, then turn left onto Keizersgracht where the museum is located at number 672.
