From any location in Betuwe, head towards the nearest major road leading to the A12 motorway. If you're in a town like Tiel, take the N834 towards the A15 motorway, then merge onto the A12 towards Utrecht. Continue on the A12 and take exit 23 towards Doorn. Follow signs for N225 and then turn onto Amersfoortseweg. Utrechtse Heuvelrug National Park will be on your right at Amersfoortseweg 98, 3941 EP Doorn. The total distance from Tiel to the park is approximately 50 km and will take around 45 minutes by car, depending on traffic conditions.

To reach Utrechtse Heuvelrug National Park by public transport, start by taking a train from Betuwe. For example, if you are in Tiel, take the train towards Utrecht Central Station. From Utrecht, transfer to a train heading to Doorn (keep in mind that this may involve a short bus ride as direct trains may not be available). Once you arrive at Doorn, you can take bus line 50 towards Wageningen and get off at the 'Doorn, Amersfoortseweg' stop. From there, it is a short walk to the park entrance at Amersfoortseweg 98, 3941 EP Doorn. The total travel time is about 1.5 to 2 hours depending on connections.

If you prefer to cycle, you can take a bike route from Betuwe. Start by getting onto the bike paths that lead towards the north, following signs for Doorn. The route may take you through scenic areas and typical Dutch countryside. From Tiel, the ride will take approximately 2 hours (around 30 km), depending on your speed and the exact starting point. Once you reach Doorn, follow the signs to Amersfoortseweg where the park entrance is located at 98.
