Car
If you're driving from Hoorn, head southeast on the N302. Continue on the N302 until you reach the A7 motorway. Merge onto the A7 and follow the signs for Amsterdam. After approximately 25 km, take exit 6 towards A28/E232. Merge onto the A28. After around 15 km, take the exit toward Maarn. Follow the signs to Zanderij Maarn, which is located in the vicinity of Maarn. Parking is available near the nature preserve.
Public Transportation
To reach Zanderij Maarn by public transport, start by taking a train from your nearest station in West-Friesland to Amersfoort. From Amersfoort, transfer to a train heading to Utrecht. Once in Utrecht, take a train towards Maarn. Upon arrival at Maarn station, you can either walk (approximately 30 minutes) or take a local bus that operates towards Zanderij Maarn. Ensure to check the bus schedule as it may vary.
Walking
If you choose to walk from Maarn station to Zanderij Maarn, exit the station and head south on the Maarnseweg. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with the N226. Cross the N226 carefully and follow the signs pointing towards Zanderij Maarn. The walk is approximately 2.5 km and will take around 30 minutes.
