When you reach the A10 ring road, take the exit for A1 towards Amsterdam Centrum. Continue on the A1 until you reach S112 and follow the signs for Centrum. Once in the city, look for parking options nearby, as street parking can be limited. The closest parking garage is 'Parkeergarage de Bijenkorf' located at 1012 SW Amsterdam. After parking, walk towards the north for about 10 minutes, and you will reach Stromarkt 1 where the Nieuwe Haarlemmersluis is located.

To reach Nieuwe Haarlemmersluis using public transportation, begin by taking a bus or train from your location in Bollenstreek to Amsterdam. If you are near a train station, take the train to Amsterdam Centraal. Once you arrive at Amsterdam Centraal, exit the station and head towards the main street, Damrak. From there, you can either walk or take tram line 4 or 14 towards 'Station RAI'. If you choose to walk, head northwest on Damrak, then turn left onto Beursstraat. Continue walking until you reach Stromarkt. Nieuwe Haarlemmersluis will be at Stromarkt 1. The total travel time is approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour.
