Getting there

Bus

From Haarlem, walk to the Haarlem train station (Haarlem Centraal). Take bus line 50 towards The Hague (Den Haag). The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the stop 'Den Haag, Centraal Station'. From there, you can either walk or take tram line 1 or 9. If walking, head southeast on Stationsweg, continue onto Spui, and then turn left onto Lange Voorhout. The museum will be on your left at number 74.

Train and Tram

Start at Haarlem train station (Haarlem Centraal). Take a direct train to The Hague (Den Haag Centraal). The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Den Haag Centraal, exit the station and look for the tram station nearby. Take tram line 1 or 9. Get off at the stop 'Lange Voorhout'. The Escher in the Palace museum will be right in front of you at Lange Voorhout 74.

Bicycle

If you prefer to cycle, you can rent a bike from one of the many rental shops in Haarlem. Head south toward the city center, then follow the signs toward The Hague. The ride will take approximately 35-45 minutes. Once you reach The Hague, navigate to Lange Voorhout by following the bike paths. The museum is located at Lange Voorhout 74.

Walking

While walking from Haarlem to The Hague is quite a distance (around 15 km), it is possible. Start by heading south towards the Spaarne River, follow the river path until you reach the outskirts of The Hague. Continue walking towards the city center, and then make your way to Lange Voorhout. This will take about 2-3 hours, so make sure to wear comfortable shoes and stay hydrated.
