We booked a 2-hour private walking tour to get a first impression and overview of Rotterdam. The focus was modern architecture. Kseniya was a great guide who told us so much: history, architecture, stories behind the buildings, and a lot about everyday life in Rotterdam, such as cashless payments for simply everything. We learned an incredible amount, it was a lot of fun because Kseniya catered entirely to our needs and questions, and the time just flew by. And her tips for our remaining days were all top-notch; it couldn't be better.

Our second stop with the MS-LD was Rotterdam, is a port city in South Holland with a very nice market hall and the Erasmus bridge it is a landmark of Rotterdam.Also very nice to look at are the cube houses, so-called cube houses.Also the church Laurenskerk is an eye-opening that Erasmus Monument stands right next to the Laurenskerk church.

Our guide was knowledgeable and had interesting pictures of early Rotterdam to show us. He was friendly, warm and welcoming. We had a wonderful afternoon with him exploring the highlights of beautiful Rotterdam. The harbor cruise was the lowlight of the day. It was an hour of sailing past container ships and a working port.
