Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Delft, head towards the Markt square. Once you are at the Markt, look for the large church, the Nieuwe Kerk. From there, exit the square heading south onto the Voldersgracht. Continue straight for about 200 meters until you reach the intersection with the Korte Geer. Turn left onto the Korte Geer and follow it until you reach the junction with the Oosteinde. Take a right onto Oosteinde and continue until you reach the train station. From the station, take a train to Haarlem; it takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Haarlem station, exit towards the main entrance and head west on the Stationsplein. Continue straight for about 700 meters until you reach the Botermarkt, which is located to your right.

    Start at Delft's central bus station which is located near the Markt. Take bus line 40 towards Haarlem, which will take you directly to Haarlem. The bus ride takes about 35 minutes. Once you arrive at the Haarlem bus station, exit and walk towards the city center. Head west on the Kruisweg and continue straight until you reach the Botermarkt. This square is located near the center of Haarlem and is easily recognizable.

  • Bicycle

    If you prefer to cycle, you can rent a bike from one of the many rental shops in Delft. Start from the city center and head towards the Delftse Hout park. From there, follow the bike path towards the A13 highway, then take the route towards Haarlem. The cycling distance is approximately 15 kilometers and will take around 40 minutes. Once you arrive in Haarlem, follow the signs to the city center, and you will find the Botermarkt easily.
