De Hoop: A Historic Mill in Zierikzee

Getting There

• Walking

  From the Market Square in Delft, head south towards the Oude Kerk (Old Church). Once you reach the church, turn left onto the Voldersgracht and continue straight until you reach the intersection with the Koornmarkt. Turn right onto the Koornmarkt and then take the next left onto the Hooikade. Continue along the Hooikade until you reach the train station (Delft Station). From the station, take the train towards Zierikzee, which is approximately a 30-minute journey. Upon arriving at Zierikzee station, exit and walk towards Lange Nobelstraat. Turn left and walk straight until you reach Lange Nobelstraat 43, where De Hoop is located.

• Bicycle

  If you're renting a bicycle in Delft, start from the Market Square and head towards the central train station (Delft Station) via the Koornmarkt. Once at the station, head towards the bike path that leads to Zierikzee. Follow the designated cycling routes for approximately 10 kilometers. Upon entering Zierikzee, follow the signs to Lange Nobelstraat. You will find De Hoop at Lange Nobelstraat 43.

• Public Transport

  To get to De Hoop using public transport, start at the Delft bus station near the Market Square. Take bus number 33 towards Zierikzee. The journey takes about 40 minutes. Get off at the stop 'Zierikzee, Lange Nobelstraat' and walk approximately 5 minutes to the location at Lange Nobelstraat 43.
