Walking
From the center of Delft, head towards the main railway station, Delft Station. Exit the station and walk towards the south along the Voldersgracht canal, following the signs for Rotterdam. Continue straight for about 15 minutes until you reach the intersection with the Rotterdamseweg. Turn left onto Rotterdamseweg and continue walking for about 20 minutes. You will cross into Rotterdam. Keep an eye out for signs pointing towards Delfshaven, which is a historic area with charming canals and buildings.
Public Transport
To reach Delfshaven from Delft using public transport, start at Delft Station. Purchase a ticket to Rotterdam Central Station. Take the train that heads towards Rotterdam and it will take about 15 minutes. Once you arrive at Rotterdam Central Station, exit the station and take tram line 21 towards 'Rotterdam, Spaanse Polder'. Get off at the stop 'Delfshaven' after approximately 10 stops. From the tram stop, it’s a short walk to the historic area of Delfshaven, just follow the signs.
