Walking
Start from the center of Delft at the Market Square (Markt). Head east on the Markt towards the Voldergracht street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with the Koornmarkt. Turn left onto Koornmarkt and walk until you reach the next intersection. Here, turn right onto the Wijnhaven street. Keep walking straight until you reach the train station, Delft Station. From there, take a train to Leiden. The train ride will take approximately 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive at Leiden Station, exit the station and head towards the main exit. Walk along the Stationsweg and then take a left onto the Rapenburg. Continue walking straight for about 10 minutes. The Japan Museum SieboldHuis will be on your right at Rapenburg 19, 2311 GE Leiden.
Bicycle
If you prefer to cycle, rent a bike from one of the many rental shops in Delft. Start at the Market Square (Markt) and head east towards the Voldergracht street. Turn left onto Koornmarkt, then right onto Wijnhaven. Follow the road until you reach Delft Station. From there, follow the bike path signs to Leiden. The ride to Leiden should take about 30 minutes. Upon arriving in Leiden, follow the signs to the city center. Once you reach the Rapenburg, look for number 19, where the Japan Museum SieboldHuis is located.
Public Transport
From Delft, head to Delft Station. You can walk there from the Markt in about 15 minutes. Once at the station, purchase a ticket to Leiden. Trains run frequently, so you shouldn't have to wait long. The journey takes around 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive at Leiden Station, follow the signs to the exit. You can either walk to the museum from here, which will take about 10-15 minutes, or catch a bus towards the center. If walking, head left out of the station onto Stationsweg, then take a left onto the Rapenburg. The museum will be on your right at Rapenburg 19.
