Bus
From the center of Delft, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is 'Delft, Station'. Take bus line 33 towards 'Katwijk aan Zee'. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Make sure to get off at the stop 'Katwijk aan Zee, Centrum'. From there, it's a short 5-minute walk to the beach.
Train
Head to the Delft railway station, which is located near the city center. Take a train towards 'Den Haag' and transfer at 'Den Haag Centraal' station. From there, board a train to 'Katwijk aan Zee'. After approximately 45 minutes, you will arrive at 'Katwijk aan Zee' station. The beach is a 15-minute walk from the station. Simply head west toward the coastline.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in Delft. Start by biking towards the west through the scenic countryside, following the bike paths towards Katwijk aan Zee. The distance is about 15 kilometers and will take around 45 minutes to an hour. Follow the signs that direct you to Katwijk, and enjoy the beautiful landscapes along the way.
