Public Transport
From Delft, walk to the nearest tram stop, which is 'Delft, Station.' Catch tram line 1 towards 'Den Haag, Hollands Spoor'. After approximately 15 minutes, get off at 'Den Haag, Buitenhof' tram stop. From there, it's a short 5-minute walk to the Prison Gate Museum. Head northeast on Buitenhof and look for the museum at Buitenhof 33.
Walking
If you prefer walking from the center of Delft, start at the Markt square. Head northeast towards the Oude Kerk and continue straight until you reach the train station. From the station, follow the signs towards the bus and tram stops. Take tram line 1 towards 'Den Haag, Hollands Spoor' and alight at 'Den Haag, Buitenhof.' The museum is a 5-minute walk from the tram stop at Buitenhof 33.
Bicycle
For those who enjoy cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in Delft. Start at the Markt square and head towards the main road, following signs towards The Hague. Cycle along the designated bike paths, which will take you through scenic areas. It’s about a 25-minute ride. Once you reach The Hague, follow the signs to Buitenhof, where the Prison Gate Museum is located at Buitenhof 33.
