Bus
From Delft, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is 'Delft, Station' located at the Delft train station. Take bus line 33 towards Katwijk, which runs frequently. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at the 'Katwijk, Boulevard' stop. From there, walk towards the beach by following the Boulevard Zeezijde. The Strand van Katwijk aan Zee will be on your left at Boulevard Zeezijde 3A.
Train and Walk
Make your way to Delft train station and take a train towards Den Haag Centraal. Once there, switch to a train heading to Leiden Centraal. After arriving at Leiden Centraal, transfer to bus line 30 or 31 towards Katwijk. Get off at the 'Katwijk, Boulevard' stop. Walk towards the beach along Boulevard Zeezijde, and you will find Strand van Katwijk aan Zee at Boulevard Zeezijde 3A.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the local bike rental shops in Delft. Head towards the N211 road, following the signs for Katwijk. The journey is approximately 14 kilometers and will take around 50 minutes. Once you reach Katwijk, navigate towards Boulevard Zeezijde, and you will find Strand van Katwijk aan Zee at Boulevard Zeezijde 3A.
Walking
If you are up for a long walk, you can stroll from Delft to Katwijk. It’s about 15 kilometers and would take roughly 3 hours. Start by heading east towards the N211. Continue straight until you reach Katwijk, following the signs for Katwijk aan Zee. Once you reach the beach, walk along the boulevard until you find Strand van Katwijk aan Zee at Boulevard Zeezijde 3A.
