Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the central market square in Delft, head towards the main entrance of the Markt. As you exit the Markt, turn left onto the Voldersgracht street and continue straight until you reach the intersection with the Molen de Roos windmill. From there, head right onto the Molenstraat. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with the Oosteinde. Here, you will take a left onto the Oosteinde and follow it until you reach the train station, Delft. At the train station, you can catch a train to Leiden. The journey to Leiden takes about 20 minutes. Once you arrive at Leiden Centraal, exit the station and head towards the bus terminal to catch bus line 1 towards 'Leiden, Stadhuisplein'. Get off at the 'Stadhuisplein' stop, and you will see the Leiden City Hall directly in front of you.

    To reach Leiden City Hall by bicycle from the center of Delft, start at the Markt and head north on the Koornmarkt. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout and take the first exit onto the Kromme Mijdrecht. Follow this road as it turns into the Vlietweg. This road will take you directly towards Leiden. Once you arrive in Leiden, continue to follow the signs for the city center. You can park your bicycle at designated bicycle racks around Stadhuisplein, which is where the City Hall is located.
