Walking
Start at the Delft train station. Exit the station and head towards the city center by following the signs for 'Centrum'. Walk straight for about 10 minutes along the 'Verwersdijk' street, which will take you alongside the canal. Continue on this path until you reach 'Koornmarkt', where you'll see the iconic old buildings and the market square. From Koornmarkt, turn left onto 'Oude Langendijk' and continue straight until you reach 'Markt', the main square of Delft. Taj Mahalplaats is a short walk from here, just a few blocks away. Head east on 'Markt', then turn left onto 'Breestraat'. Walk straight until you reach 'Taj Mahalplaats', which is a small square that should be visible on your right.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the many rental shops near the Delft train station. From the station, head towards the city center by cycling along 'Verwersdijk' street. After about 10 minutes, you'll arrive at 'Koornmarkt'. Continue cycling straight until you reach 'Markt', the main square. From there, take 'Breestraat' heading east. Taj Mahalplaats is just a few blocks away on your right side. It’s a pleasant bike ride through the beautiful streets of Delft.
Public Transport
Although Taj Mahalplaats is quite close to the center, you can use public transport to get there. Take bus line 1 or 40 from the Delft train station towards 'Delft, Tanthof' or 'Delft, Voordaan'. Get off at the 'Markt' stop. From the bus stop, walk east on 'Markt' and then turn left onto 'Breestraat'. Continue walking until you reach 'Taj Mahalplaats', which will be on your right. This route should take about 15-20 minutes total including the bus ride.
