Car
From the center of Assen, take the N33 highway heading southeast. Follow the N33 for approximately 20 kilometers. Take the exit towards Bronneger (N34). Once on the N34, continue for about 10 kilometers. Take the exit towards Bronneger, and at the roundabout, take the first exit onto Popdilweg. D21 & D22 will be located along Popdilweg. There is no parking fee in this area.
Public Transportation
From Assen railway station, take bus line 72 towards Emmen. Get off at the 'Bronneger, school' bus stop, which takes approximately 35 minutes. From the bus stop, it's a 15-minute walk to D21 & D22. Head south on Popdilweg, and the hunebeds will be located along the road. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance, as services may vary.
Bicycle
If you are in a nearby town like Emmen or Assen, cycling is a great way to reach D21 & D22. From Assen, take the N34 cycle path heading southeast towards Bronneger. This route is approximately 15 kilometers and will take around 50 minutes, depending on your pace. Follow the signs for Popdilweg; once you arrive, D21 & D22 will be visible along the road.
