Getting There

    If you're traveling by car, navigate to Drouwenerveld via the A28 highway. Take the exit towards Drouwen (exit 30) and follow the signs for Drouwen. Continue on the N34 road until you reach Drouwenerveld. Once in Drouwenerveld, look for Veldweg; D26 is located along this road. Parking is available along the street near the site.

  • Public Transportation

    To reach D26 by public transportation, take a train to Assen or Emmen. From either station, transfer to a regional bus heading towards Drouwen. Buses run regularly, but check the schedule ahead of time. Get off at the Drouwenerveld stop. From there, it's a short walk (approximately 15 minutes) along Veldweg to the D26 hunebed site.
