If you're driving, head towards Emmen Schimmeres. From the center of Emmen, take the N34 highway heading north towards Groningen. After about 10 kilometers, take the exit towards Emmen Schimmeres. Follow the signs for Schimmeres and continue straight until you see the D43 Hunebed on your right. There is parking available nearby.

To reach D43 by public transport, take a train to Emmen station. From Emmen station, you can catch bus line 21 towards Klazienaveen. Get off at the 'Schimmeres' bus stop. From there, it’s a short walk (about 15 minutes) to the D43 Hunebed. Just follow the signs towards the Hunebed, which is located a bit north of the bus stop.
