From the city of Assen, take the N33 road heading towards Groningen. After approximately 15 kilometers, take the exit towards N372, following signs for Roden/Westervelde. Continue on N372 for about 8 kilometers until you reach the village of Westervelde. Once in Westervelde, follow local signs towards Norgerholt, which is located within the national forest area. Parking is available nearby, but be aware that some parking areas may charge a small fee.
