If you're traveling by car, head to Ritthem by navigating to Rammekensweg, 4389 TZ Ritthem. From the center of Vlissingen, follow the N666 road towards Ritthem. After about 6 km, turn left onto Rammekensweg. The fort will be on your right after approximately 1 km. There is a parking area available nearby.
Public Transportation
To reach Fort Rammekens using public transport, take a train to Vlissingen Station. From there, you can take bus line 52 towards Ritthem. Get off at the 'Ritthem, Rammekensweg' stop. The fort is a short walk from the bus stop, approximately 500 meters to the southeast. Make sure to check the latest bus schedule for exact times and frequency.
Walking
If you're already in Ritthem, you can walk to Fort Rammekens. Start at the village center and head southeast on Rammekensweg. The fort is about a 15-minute walk away, and you'll enjoy the scenic views along the way. Just keep walking straight until you reach the fort.
Bicycle
For those who prefer cycling, renting a bike is a great option. From Vlissingen, follow the designated cycling paths towards Ritthem. The route is approximately 6 km and is flat and easy to navigate. Once you arrive in Ritthem, head to Rammekensweg, where the fort is located about 1 km from the village center.
