Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving, head towards the A1 motorway. Take the exit towards Muiden/Weesp, and follow the signs for the N525 towards Marken. Continue on the N525 until you reach Marken. Once you arrive in Marken, follow the road until you see signs for 'Oosterpad.' The Paard van Marken is located at Oosterpad, 1156 DB Marken. There is parking available in the area, but be prepared to pay for parking which can be around €1.50 per hour.

• Public Transportation

  Start at Amsterdam Central Station. Take bus 314 towards Marken. This bus runs frequently and takes approximately 30-35 minutes. Once you arrive at the bus stop in Marken, walk towards the waterfront. Follow the signs to 'Oosterpad.' The Paard van Marken is a short 10-minute walk from the bus stop. Please note that a single bus ticket costs around €5-€6.

• Combination of Train and Bus

  Begin your journey at Amsterdam Central Station and take a train to Weesp. From Weesp, transfer to bus 314 towards Marken. The bus ride will take around 30 minutes. After getting off at the Marken bus stop, walk towards Oosterpad. The Paard van Marken will be approximately a 10-minute walk from the bus stop. The total cost for this journey (train and bus) is approximately €10-€15, depending on the time of day and ticket type.
