Car
If you are driving, start by heading towards the A6 motorway. From the Dutch Coast, take the A6 towards Joure. Continue on the A6 for approximately 30 kilometers and take exit 17 toward Lemmer. Once you exit, follow the signs for Lemmer which will lead you onto the N359. After about 5 kilometers, turn left onto Gemaalweg. The Wouda pumping station will be on your right at Gemaalweg 1a, 8531 PS Lemmer. There is free parking available near the pumping station.
Public Transportation
To reach Wouda pumping station by public transport, first take a train from your nearest station to Lemmer. You can use NS (Dutch Railways) to check train schedules. Upon arrival at Lemmer station, you can take bus line 22 towards 'Lemmer, Haven' and get off at the 'Lemmer, Gemaalweg' stop. From there, it is a short walk (about 5 minutes) to Wouda pumping station located at Gemaalweg 1a. Be sure to check the bus schedule as frequencies may vary, especially on weekends.
Bicycle
