Car
If you're driving from Lelystad, take the A6 highway towards Amsterdam. Continue on the A6 and merge onto the A10 ring road. Take exit 11 for Amstelveenseweg toward N201. Once on Amstelveenseweg, follow the signs for the city center (Centrum). Continue straight until you reach Linnaeusstraat, and turn left. The Wereldmuseum Amsterdam will be on your right at Linnaeusstraat 2, 1092 CK Amsterdam. Parking may be available in the area, but it's advisable to check in advance.
Public Transportation
To reach Wereldmuseum Amsterdam via public transportation from Almere, start by taking the train from Almere Centrum to Amsterdam Amstel station. The journey takes about 25 minutes. From Amsterdam Amstel, transfer to metro line 51, 53, or 54 towards Amsterdam Centraal. Get off at the Weesperplein station (2 stops). From Weesperplein, it’s about a 15-minute walk to Linnaeusstraat 2. Head east on Weesperplein, turn left onto Sarphatistraat, continue straight until you reach Linnaeusstraat, and turn right. The museum will be on your right.
Public Transportation
If you are traveling from Dronten, take the train from Dronten station to Amsterdam Bijlmer Arena station. This usually requires a transfer at either Almere or Weesp. From Amsterdam Bijlmer, take metro line 50 towards Amsterdam Centraal and get off at Duivendrecht station. Transfer to metro line 51, 53, or 54 towards Centraal Station, and get off at Weesperplein. From Weesperplein, walk east to Sarphatistraat, then turn left onto Linnaeusstraat. The museum will be on your right at Linnaeusstraat 2.
