Car
If you are driving from Lelystad, take the A6 highway towards Amsterdam. Continue on the A6 and merge onto the A1 towards Amsterdam. Follow the signs for Amsterdam-Centrum. Once you reach the city, take the exit toward S112/Amstel. Continue straight onto Amstel and then turn right onto Weteringschans. Follow the road until you reach Koningsplein. There is limited parking available nearby, so be sure to check local parking regulations.
Public Transportation
From Lelystad, take the train from Lelystad Centrum station to Amsterdam Central Station. The journey takes approximately 50 minutes. Once you arrive at Amsterdam Central Station, exit the station and head to the tram stop located right outside. Board tram number 2 or 12 heading towards Amsterdam-Centrum. Get off at the 'Koningsplein' stop. From there, you can easily walk to the square which is just a short distance away.
Car
If you are coming from Almere, take the A6 highway towards Amsterdam. Continue on the A6 and merge onto the A1 highway towards Amsterdam. Follow the signs to Amsterdam-Centrum. Once in the city, follow the signs to the S112/Amstel exit. Continue along Amstel and turn right onto Weteringschans. Koningsplein will be on your left. Be aware of parking options nearby, as they can be limited.
Public Transportation
From Almere, take the train from Almere Centrum station to Amsterdam Central Station. The trip takes around 30 minutes. After arriving at Amsterdam Central Station, head to the tram stop outside. Take tram number 2 or 12 towards Amsterdam-Centrum and disembark at the 'Koningsplein' stop. The square is a short walk from the tram stop.
