Car
If you are traveling by car, head towards Hindeloopen. From the A7 motorway, take the exit towards N359. Follow the N359 until you reach the T-junction with N307. Turn right onto N307 and continue until you reach Hindeloopen. Once in Hindeloopen, follow the signs towards the center. The Schaatsmuseum is located at Kleine Weide 1, just off the main road. There is parking available nearby.

To reach the Schaatsmuseum via public transportation, start by taking a train to the nearest station, which is 'Hindeloopen'. Check the NS (Dutch Railways) website for train schedules. Upon arrival at Hindeloopen station, exit the station and walk towards the main road (N307). Turn left and follow the road for about 15 minutes; the museum will be located on your right at Kleine Weide 1. Make sure to check the local bus schedules as well, as some buses may directly connect to the museum or the nearby town center.
