If you are driving from the center of the Ruhr area, take the A40 motorway towards the west. After approximately 30 km, take the exit for A3 towards Oberhausen/Duisburg. Continue on the A3 for about 20 km and then take the exit toward Wesel. Follow signs for Wesel and continue on B70. Once you reach Wesel, navigate towards the city center and follow the signs to the Wesel Citadel located at 46483 Wesel. There is limited street parking available nearby, so be prepared to walk a short distance to the citadel.
