Car
From Gooi, take the A1 highway toward Amsterdam. Merge onto the A2 highway at the interchange for Utrecht. Continue on the A2 for approximately 15 km. Take exit 4 toward Abcoude and merge onto N201. Follow N201 for about 5 km until you reach Abcoude. Turn left onto Molenweg. Fort bij Abcoude will be on your right at Molenweg 19, 1391 CH Abcoude. Parking is available nearby, but be aware that some areas may require a parking fee.

From any location in Gooi, make your way to the nearest train station (e.g., Hilversum or Bussum Zuid). Take a train toward Amsterdam Central Station and transfer at Duivendrecht station to the metro line 50. Get off at Abcoude station. From Abcoude station, you can either walk (approximately 20 minutes) or take bus line 120 toward Vinkeveen and get off at the Molenweg stop. Fort bij Abcoude is a short walk from there.
