Getting There

• Bike

  If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike in Groningen. Head out of the city center towards the north on the cycle path. Follow the signs towards Assen, which is approximately 23 kilometers away. The bike ride will take about 1.5 hours. Upon reaching Assen, look for signs directing you to the Duurzaamheidscentrum at Bosrand 2. There are bike racks available at the center.

• Walking

  If you are up for a longer walk, you can walk to Assen from Groningen, though it is quite a distance (approximately 23 kilometers). Start from the city center and follow the cycle paths heading north. This will take you about 5 hours, so plan accordingly. Once you reach Assen, head towards Bosrand 2 where the Duurzaamheidscentrum is located.
