Walking
If you are starting from the city center of Groningen, head southwest towards 'Gedempte Zuiderdiep'. Walk straight until you reach the 'Zwanestraat'. Turn right onto 'Zwanestraat' and continue walking until you reach 'Akerkstraat'. Turn left onto 'Akerkstraat'. Follow this road until you reach the 'Oude Ebbingestraat'. Continue straight, and you will come to 'Kerklaan'. From here, follow the signs or ask locals for directions to 'Grote- Sint Martinuskerk', which is located at Markt 2, Dokkum. Note that you will need to take public transport to Dokkum, as it is about a 40-minute journey from Groningen.

From the Groningen central station, purchase a ticket to Dokkum. Board the bus at the station that goes directly to Dokkum. The journey will take approximately 40 minutes. Once you arrive in Dokkum, exit the bus and walk towards 'Markt 2'. The Grote- Sint Martinuskerk is located in the town square.
