From the Wadden Islands, drive towards the mainland and head towards Leeuwarden. Once you reach Leeuwarden, take the A32 highway direction Heerenveen. After approximately 15 km, take exit 22 towards N31. Continue on N31 for about 7 km, then take the exit towards Cornjum. Follow the signs for Cornjum. Martenastate is located at Martenawei 2, 9056 PE Cornjum, which is a short drive from the exit.

If you are traveling by public transportation, start by taking a train from your location in the Wadden Islands to Leeuwarden. From Leeuwarden train station, take bus line 66 towards Cornjum. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the 'Cornjum' stop and from there, it’s a short 10-minute walk to Martenastate located at Martenawei 2.
