From Groningen Central Station, take bus number 50 towards Assen. This bus departs frequently, so check the schedule at the station. The journey takes about 45 minutes. Get off at the stop called 'Zwiggelte, Sterrenwacht'. Once you disembark, walk towards the National Westerbork Memorial, which is approximately a 10-minute walk from the bus stop. Follow the signs to guide you to the memorial.

Take a train from Groningen Central Station to Hoogeveen. The train journey takes around 30 minutes. From Hoogeveen Station, transfer to bus number 50 heading towards Assen.
