Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Assen. Take the A28 highway towards Groningen. After approximately 20 kilometers, take exit 30 towards Diever. Continue on the N371 road for about 10 kilometers until you reach Diever. Once you are in Diever, follow the signs to Steenakkerweg. Turn onto Steenakkerweg, and you will find Landgoed De Heezeberg at number 2.

• Public Transportation

  If you prefer public transportation, begin your journey at the Assen train station. Take a train to Beilen, which takes around 15 minutes. From Beilen, you will need to transfer to bus line 20 towards Diever (make sure to check the bus schedule). The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Diever, disembark at the 'Diever, Dorpsstraat' stop. From there, it is a 15-minute walk to Landgoed De Heezeberg. Head south on Dorpsstraat, turn right onto Steenakkerweg, and you will reach your destination at number 2.

• Bicycle

  For those who enjoy cycling, you can rent a bike in Assen and cycle to Landgoed De Heezeberg. Follow the same route as by car: take the A28 towards Groningen, but instead of getting on the highway, take the cycle path that runs parallel. You will pass through beautiful countryside. Once you reach Diever, make your way to Steenakkerweg, and you will find Landgoed De Heezeberg at number 2. The total distance is approximately 25 kilometers and will take around 1.5 to 2 hours.
